Vladimir Titkov, the managing director of URALSIB Capital corporate finance and consulting, participated in the 4th CIS PRECIOUS METALS Summit and in the 14th Annual Metals and Mining Summit, organized by the Adam Smith Institute.

At the CIS Precious Metals Summit, Titkov spoke about "The influence of the financial crisis on the development of the gold-mining industry. Prospects for consolidation" within the frames of the conference "Investments in the precious metals industry in Russian and CIS".

The participants discussed the following industry-important issues: legislative changes and their consequences; the attraction of capital and investments during the crisis; the introduction of Russian and CIS companies to international investors; the attractiveness of CIS precious metals markets and stock exchanges for foreign investments.

The conference was attended by representatives of the Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service, the Chamber of Trade and Industry, leading mining companies from the CIS and leading Russian and international financial organizations.

Within the frames of Metals and Mining Summit Vladimir Titkov joined the panel discussion "Consolidation in the metals and mining sector: mergers and acquisitions and vertical integration of the companies".
